KATHMANDU: Property worth around Rs 1.2 million were destroyed  after a cotton factory in Sipradi of Chandragiri Municipality-11 of Kathmandu district, caught fire on Wednesday.

The Property was turned into cinders  after an electric short circuit sparked fire at Balkumari Cotton factory owned by the local Govinda Shrestha.

Four ton of raw cotton, two cotton crushing machines and 150 corrugated zinc sheets housed in the factory were destroyed.
