KATHMANDU: Cash and valuables were burgled from the rented house of Shankardev Shrestha in Madannagar, Kathmandu-14, on Monday.

According to a complaint lodged by Shrestha of Jhapa district, unidentified persons broke into his room and made off with Rs 150,000, gold ornaments weighing six tola, 10 tola silver, Australian dollar 1,000 and USD 300.
