KATHMANDU: Property worth around Rs 1.6 million was reduced to ashes when a fire broke out at the Monica Cosmetic and Facy Store in Ganesthan of Chabahil, KMC-7 on Wednesday.

The reason behind the fire that broke out at the store owned by Maya Limbu of Sunsari is yet to be established.

The fire was doused with the help of locals and a fire engine, police said.

Police said that they are looking into the case.
