KATHMANDU: Property worth around Rs 100,000 was reduced to ashes when a fire broke out at a grocery store in Chhetrapati of Basundhara, KMC-3 on Thursday.

Police said that the reason behind the fire that broke out at the grocery store of Laxmi Khadka was electric short circuit.

The fire was taken under control with the help of locals, police said.
