BHAKTAPUR: Property worth around Rs 392,000 was robbed from a house at Nayabasti in Bode of Madhyapur Municipality-2 on Thursday.

According to a complaint lodged with police, an armed gang of three persons with mongolian faces barged into the house of Jandabi Prasad Dahal after breaking the door, took the family members under control by brandishing sharp weapons and whisked away with Rs 125,000 in cash and various gold ornaments.

Further investigation into the incident is underway, said police.
