Property worth Rs 500,000 destroyed in Ratopul house fire
KATHMANDU: Property worth around Rs 500,000 were destroyed when a fire broke out at a house in Ratopul of KMC-7 on Sunday.
According to police, the ground floor of the house belonging to Suresh Kumar Agrawal was destroyed after an electric shot-circuit started a fire yesterday.
The fire gutted the properties including meter box, inverter and battery among others.
Meanwhile, further investigation into the case is underway, said police.
