KATHMANDU: Property worth around Rs 800,000 were stolen from a house in Godawari Municipality-12 of Lalitpur district on Monday.

According to police, an unidentified gang broke into the house of Krishna Regmi in Thecho and made off with Rs 300,000 cash and various gold and silver jewelleries.

Meanwhile, further investigation into the case is underway and search is on for the absconding perpetrators, said police.
