PSC team to leave for India on study tour

Kathmandu, November 30:

A high-level 12-member Nepali delegation from the Public Service Commission (PSC) is visiting India on a study mission from December 2-10.

The delegation led by PSC’s chairman Tirtha Man Shakya includes four members, the secretary and its other senior officials.

At a press held at the Indian embassy today, Pranaya Verma, economic counsellor at the embassy, said the delegates will visit New Delhi, Thiruvanthapuram (Kerala), Mumbai, Dehradun and Hardwar (Uttarakhand) with a primary focus on exchanging experiences with India’s Union Public Service Commission, the federal authority in India for recruitment to All India Services and Central Services, as well as State Public Service Commissions of Kerala, Maharashtra and Uttarakhand.
