Kathmandu, April 17:

A one-day Effective Public Speaking training for the Leos was organised here today with an objective of developing leadership skills among them. Some 50 participants took part in the training programme organised by Leo Training Pool - 325 B Nepal and supported by the Leo Club (LC) of Kathmandu-Bishalnagar. The participants were from various Leo Clubs of the valley and outside. The participating clubs include Leo Club of Kathmandu- Bishalnagar, Indreni, Kuleswor, Peace Zone, Kathmandu Himalayas Kingdom, LC Pokhara and other local LCs outside the valley.

Immediate past president of Kathmandu Jaycees Raj Kumar Shrestha and Subendra Joshi, past district vice president gave the public speaking training to the participant Leos.

Addressing the concluding ceremony Past District Governor (PDG) M S Panthi highlighted the need of frequent trainings to the Leos to develop their skills. Another PDG Bharat Lal Shrestha, past district vice president Yumesh Shrestha, president of host club Suman Adhikary, past president of District 325 B Rajesh Shrestha, past district president Kedar Timilsina and multiple district council president Dhiraj Ram Rajbhandary also lauded such training programmes.
