Quake-hit given relief materials
KATHMANDU: The Shree Bouddhanath Area Development Committee has provided relief materials worth Rs 1 million to the earthquake victims of different districts on Saturday.
A total of 900 quake-hit families in Nuwakot, Kavre, Kathmandu and others were given food materials, clothing, corrugated roofing sheets, tarpaulins and other materials.
Committee Chairman Sampurna Kumar Lama said that the relief materials were distributed as part of the organisation’s social responsibility.
On the occasion, Buddhist scholar Tika Sherpa said that the support should be provided to all facing crisis.
