Rally on Public-Police Day

Community Development Center and Community Police Service jointly organised a peace rally on the occasion of Public-Police Day in spite of the rain in Lalitpur.

The rally started from ward no 14, Tikhe Dewal and went through Thasikhel, Kusunti, Ekantakuna, Jawalakhel, Manbhavan, Kumaripati, Lagankhel, Satdobato, Chapagaun mode, Tutepani, Nakkhipot and ended at the office of the ward no 14.

Member of Parliament Raghuji Pant, Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIGP) Govinda Prasad Thapa, Amar Singh Shah, Deputy Inspector General (DIG), Kathmandu Valley, Naresh Gurung, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Ganesh Rai, head of the district police office Lalitpur, members from different associations and organisations, Magar and Gurung society, students from various schools, different Tole reforming committees of the ward 14 and also the members of wards 5,13 and 15 participated in the rally.

Participants lauded the need of co-operation between the public and police to maintain peace in the society.
