Reconstruction Bill to be tabled soon, says PM Oli

KATHMANDU:  Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Thursday said that the Bill Related to the National Reconstruction Authority would soon be tabled at the Parliament and then further work for formation of the Authority would be intensified.

Talking to the European Union delegation including the French Ambassador to Nepal, representatives of World Bank and the UK Department for International Development (DFID), at the Prime Minister's Office today, PM Oli said that the Bill would soon be registered at the House.

After the meeting, Rensje Teerink, the EU Ambassador to Nepal, said that the delegation held discussions with PM Oli on developmental support, humanitarian support, reconstruction projects and formation of the Reconstruction Authority among other issues.

Ambassador Teerink further stated that they drew the PM's attention on reaching the humanitarian support to the quake victims and intensifying the reconstruction works before winter season as it was of utmost priority.
