Ring road cleanup campaign begins in Kathmandu
KATHMANDU: A ring road cleanup campaign has been launched along the ring road as a part of Bagmati cleanup campaign today.
The new clean-up drive was organised to extend the cleanup campaign outside the river as well.
Earlier on the 200th week of Bagmati cleanup campaign, Chief Secretary Som Lal Subedi had issued a 10-point document to extend the programme.
The ring road cleanup campaign began from the Green City Hospital, Dhapasi and 10 metric tonnes of waste was managed in the area.
Meanwhile, 10 metric tonnes of solid waste were scooped out from the Buddhanagar stretch of the Bagmati River as a part of the weekly campaign.
