KATHMANDU, APRIL 21
Chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), Rajendra Lingden, along with six other party leaders arrested for violating restricted zones, was released this evening.
They were detained for staging demonstrations in prohibited areas around Singha Durbar and Baneshwor.
According to Apil Raj Bohara, spokesperson for the District Police Range, those released include Chairman Lingden, Vice Chairman Buddhi Man Tamang, lawmaker Gyan Bahadur Shahi, Youth Front Chairman Kailash Katuwal, and others.
In total, seven RPP leaders, including Chairman Lingden, were released, he confirmed.
