Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairperson Rajendra Lingden, party leader Buddhiman Tamang, and Chief Whip Gyan Bahadur Shahi were arrested on Saturday while staging a demonstration in a prohibited area, according to Nepal Police.
The trio was apprehended from within Singha Durbar itself.
Police Spokesperson Dinesh Kumar Acharya confirmed the arrests, stating that the leaders were taken into custody for violating the prohibition order in place at the protest site.
