KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister Kamal Thapa's Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal has relieved Bishnu Bhattarai from the duty of the party's spokesman.

RPP-Nepal Chairman Thapa decided to remove Bhattarai from the responsibility as the latter breached the party statute and his activities were against the party interests, according to the RPP-Nepal.

Bhattarai, who is an advocate, had been critical of the party leadership of late.
