KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party has been registered at the Election Commission for the upcoming provincial assembly and the House of Representatives elections today.

A team under the leadership of Vice-Chairman Tanka Dhakal formally registered the party at the EC, Joint General Secretary of the Party Rajaram Bartaula was quoted in the Rastriya Samachar Samiti as saying.

According to the Commission, today is the deadline to register for the upcoming two tiers of elections.
