KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal informed that the government has released Rs 17 crores for the flood victims on Wednesday.
Answering the question raised in the Natural Resources Committee of the House he said that the government has already given Rs 17 crores to the affected people.
CA members had raised many questions and shown dissatisfaction over the ineffective step taken by the government for the people who were affected by the floods. They had also expressed concern to the PM about the disruption of the Highways which is creating food scarcity in those areas.
Laxman Ghimire, Lekh Raj Bhatta and other CA members raised the questions before the PM.
The PM visited the flood affected areas of the far and mid western development regions on Tuesday.
