Rs 4.5 lakh looted

A group of four persons looted Rs 450,000 from Prakash Roadways Company at New Road yesterday evening.
According to Dhiraj Singh, inspector at the Janasewa ward police office, two men first intruded into the office and sought monetary help. Five staffers and the company owner Binod Gupta were in the office when the incident occured.
“After the staffers denied giving money to the duo, two more per-sons broke into the office and pressed for a heavy sum of money. The staffers, by some way, managed to lock them inside the room and informed the police.”
“When police reached there, the looters had already made away with Rs 450,000 by breaking the door,” the police said. Singh claimed to have identified the culprits and said, “We will nab them very soon.”
