The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has called a central committee meeting for Thursday afternoon to elect its parliamentary party leader.

The meeting will be held at 4:00 pm at the party's central office in Banasthali, following the swearing-in ceremony of newly elected House of Representatives (HoR) members scheduled for 2:00 pm the same day.

Party spokesperson Manish Jha said the meeting will be chaired by party president Rabi Lamichhane, with all central committee members directed to attend. The meeting is also expected to deliberate on other key party matters.

The RSP has emerged as a dominant force in Parliament, securing 182 seats in the March 5 elections.
