KATHMANDU: An institution called Sanchar Nepal has been constituted with the objectives of management of conflict in the society, restoring peace, preventing corruption, ensuring good governance and undertaking studies, research and advocacy on burning issues of the country such as hostilities, human rights and press freedom. Senior journalist Geja Sharma is the president, Kiran Pokharel the vice-president, Kishor Sapkota the general secretary and Jayaram Sapkota the treasurer of the institution. — RSS
