Saraswai Puja in USA

KATHMANDU: Non-resident Nepalis living in the United States celebrated the Saraswati Puja, felicitating senior writers and urging to collect donations for the quake victims in Haiti.

According to the International Literary Society, Colorado Chapter, litterateurs Krishna Prasad Parajuli and Manu Brajaki were felicitated on the occasion. The Society also honoured television journalist Rama Singh and artist Nirmal Sharma on the occasion. “We appeal the non-resident Nepalis to donate for the victims of quake in Haiti,” said Gyanendra Gadal, president of INLS, Colorado. “We will help the victims whatever we can on humanitarian ground,” he added.
