Save Sajha Campaign book exhibit today
KATHMANDU: Sajha Prakashan is organising a huge book fair at Nepal Academy tomorrow with an appeal to all readers, intellectuals, the public, literary figures, professors and politicians to support the Save Sajha Campaign. That is to save the publication house from going down.
The book fair will begin tomorrow and end on September 24. Of late, Sajha Prakashan has found itself on the verge of collapse due to debt amounting to millions and mismanagement of the past.
Hence, the new management has launched Save Sajha Campaign to revive its goodwill and image among readers. Dolindra Prasad Sharma, chairperson and general manager of Sajha Prakashan today said that the book fair will be very different from other book fairs held in the past.
He said, “I have invited the president, ministers, Constituent Assembly members, chief of constitutional bodies, senior security officials, political leaders, intellectuals, literary figures and many others to grace the programme and support our Save Sajha Campaign.
Sharma also clarified that the book fair would also help survey the taste of the public and readers.
Sajha Prakashan will also have a suggestion box in the fair.
