Chetaki Rajya Laxmi Karki Memorial Science and Technology Foundation has distributed various prizes instituted in memory of late Karki here on Monday. Member of the Rajparishad Standing Committee Dr Swami Prapannacharya distributed the prizes of Rs 6,000 each to students.

The prizes of Rs 1,000 each was awarded to five students. The foundation has also distributed Ratna Bahadur Naina Kumari Memorial Prize to ten orphan students studying at Gyan Prakash secondary school of Okhaldhunga district.

The foundation gave away Nepali Literary Journalism Prize to Nakul Silwal on the occasion.
