Seminar on career-building

Kathmandu, June 29:

A seminar on ‘Career opportunities in India and Abroad’ was organised today to equip the Nepali students with adequate knowledge so they can pursue education that suits them.

Speaking at the seminar, Dr Lovi Raj Gupta, associate dean head of the University School of Engineering and Science India, said, “After higher education, students are in a very crucial stage, where they have to choose their career with due deliberations.” He said the aim of the seminar was to equip the students with adequate knowledge. Dr GS Mann, deputy director, international education, said: “While choosing the universities, we should first analyse the long-term and short-term goals.”

He added that while choosing a career abroad, the students could make India a platform to go to the foreign countries.
