Senior-most House of Representatives member Arjun Narsingh KC is scheduled to take the oath of office and secrecy today.
President Ramchandra Paudel will administer the oath at the President's Office, Shital Niwas, at 11:15 am. KC, 78, was elected under the proportional representation system from the Nepali Congress.
Following his swearing-in, KC will administer the oath to other HoR members on Thursday.
The 275-member lower house comprises 165 directly elected and 110 proportional representation members.
