Septuagenarian killed in Jorpati accident
KATHMANDU: A septuagenarian succumbed to injuries he sustained in a vehicle hit in Jorpati of Kathmandu on Saturday.
The 75-year-old Harka Tamang was rushed to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital after a van carrying water jars (Ba 4 Cha 3573) hit him in Jorpati, Gokarneshwor-12 today.
A permanent resident of Haibung-3 of Sindhupalchok district, Tamang had breathed his last while undergoing treatment.
Police impounded the vehicle and arrested the driver for further investigation.
