Ward 7 of Rajbiraj Municipality is set to operate its service from its own building in Saptari.

Municipality Mayor Shambhu Prasad Yadav inaugurated the newly constructed ward office building at a programme organised in the municipality today. The estimated construction cost of the building was Rs 40 lakh.

Mayor Yadav said the building with five rooms, including assembly hall, would help in effective service delivery. He added that all the ward offices had spent a huge amount yearly on rent for operation of offices.

He said that all the ward offices would be operated from their own buildings soon.

Ward 7 Chairman Mangilal Nai said that ward 7 dwellers would receive service from its own building.

Deputy Mayor Sadhana Jha, Chief Administrative Officer Madan Bahadur Thapa and Civil Society Chairman Than Singh Bhansali, among others, said that service seekers would receive better service from the new building.
