KATHMANDU: Property worth Rs 250,000 was gutted in a fire sparked by a short circuit in Balaju area of Kathmandu on Saturday.

The Himali Trading, a store of scraps, in front of the BID Gate in KMC-16 operated by Umakanta Paudel had caught fire today.

Further investigation is underway.
