KATHMANDU: An electronic short circuit sparked fire in a shop in Imadol of Lalitpur on Monday.

The Aadhunik Cold Store, owned by Man Kaji Aale Magar, had caught fire.

Police said the fire destroyed property at the shop as well as a a van parked in front of it.

A fire brigade and police had contained the blaze.

Further investigation is underway.
