KATHMANDU: Police on Tuesday arrested three Somalian nationals for allegedly trying to smuggle psychoactive plants to the Netherlands via cargo service.

Officials said the trio were held from Thamel-based Ultimate Export and Cargo Pvt Ltd. The suspects are Ibrahim Ali Hazi (22), Zama Abdifatah Ahmed (21), and Abdi Fahad Yusuf (25).

They were trying to smuggle the plants calling it green tea.
