Kathmandu, July 11:

Two sons of late Pundit Bachan Siromani Narayan Prasad Pokharel said police barred them from entering their house at Ghattekulo, today.

Sundar and Dinbandhu Pokharel, sons of late Pokharel, who came to the office of this daily yesterday evening, said a group of policemen from Singhadurbar Ward Police Office stopped them from entering their house.

“They behaved with us in an uncivilised manner and threatened us against entering our own house,” they said. “The police might have been misled by our third step-mother, who was conspiring against us to get them out of the house, which Pundit had registered in the name of his third wife Malati,” they alleged. They said Pokharel’s first and second wife, the mother of the duo, are living at Pokharel’s ancestral home.
