KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 20
Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Mum Ali Sabry arrived in Kathmandu on Wednesday for a four-day visit.
The Sri Lankan Minister is here to attend the first meeting of the Nepal-Sri Lanka Joint Commission. He was received by Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal at Tribhuvan International Airport, as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Joint Commission meeting is scheduled for December 21 to 22 and will involve officials from various ministries in Nepal. The Nepali delegation will be led by Foreign Minister NP Saud.
The foreign ministers will also engage in a bilateral meeting.
Additionally, the Sri Lankan Minister is set to pay a courtesy call on President Ram Chandra Paudel and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
