KATHMANDU: A standing-committee meeting of CPN-UML is underway at party's central office in Dhumbarahi.

According to UML Secretary Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, the meeting was called for 12:30 today to discuss issues pertaining to current political developments and more importantly National Assembly elections.

In absence of party chair KP Sharma Oli, vice-president Bamdev Gautam will chair the meeting.
