Kathmandu, February 13

The president-level meeting of the seven student unions held today to bring out a common manifesto and code of conduct failed to reach any decision.

They have agreed to sit for another round of discussion tomorrow at the ANNFSU office.

The president of All Nepal National Free Students Union, Rajendra Kumar Rai, said the meeting could not decide on the joint-candidacy and measures on how to hold smooth Free Students Union (FSU) polls.

However, the meeting discussed the code of conduct and manifesto that states none of the student bodies should involve in mud-slinging, there should be healthy competition, the problems will be solved through a common mechanism which would consist of representatives from all seven student unions.

The common manifesto speaks of giving continuity to the movement and to use FSU polls as a platform to fight regressive forces. The leaders have said they will not give an opportunity to any regressive force to split their unity.
