KATHMANDU, MAY 19
A Summit Air flight bound for Lukla made an emergency landing at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) on Sunday morning following technical issues.
TIA spokesperson Rinzi Sherpa said the pilot decided to return after reporting problems while flying over the Phaplu region. The aircraft landed safely at 7:24 AM.
All 19 people on board, including the crew, are safe. A technical team is currently working to resolve the issue.
