KATHMANDU: Police said they have held a man in possession of an illegal drug from Naagdhunga of Kathmandu on Sunday.

Ajay Chaudhary (24) of Bakale-3, Sunsari was arrested with 200 ampoules of nitrogen from a passenger bus (Na 5 Kha 2295) en route to Kathmandu from Kakadbhitta.

The Metropolitan Police Sector had seized the illegal drug which the suspect had hidden in his bag while they were carrying out a security check-up on vehicles coming to Kathmandu.

Police said they are further looking into the case.
