KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court on Wednesday issued a show cause notice to the government regarding VAT and health services fee private hospitals charged patients.

A bench comprising Chief Justice Gopal Prasad Parajuli and justices Dipak Raj Joshi, Cholendra Shumsher Rana, Om Prakash Mishra and Dipak Kumar Karki issued the order in response to a case registered on July 31 by advocate Bishnu Prasad Timilsina.
