Lalitpur, March 4:

President of Nepal Tarun Dal (NTD) Mahendra Yadav today said that the Nepali Congress youth wing may form its own army and begin hiring people in it if the Maoists continued with their new recruitment drive in People’s Liberation Army.

Addressing a function at Nepal TarunDal’s central office at Sanepa, organised to welcome new entrants in the Tarun Dal, Yadav said it was not only the Maoists who took up arms in the past.

“Remember that the NC and the NTD had also taken up arms in the past.” On the occasion, 14 youths from Ramechhap, Khotang and Dolakha, who quit the YCL and Youth Force, joined NTD.
