KATHMANDU: A teenage boy died after a jeep hit the motorbike he was riding on in Shankhamul of Kathmandu on Thursday.

Roshan Shrestha (17), a permanent resident of Simara of Bara, currently residing in Kaushaltar of Bhaktapur, had sustained serious injuries as the jeep (Ba 11 Cha 6823) had hit his two-wheeler (Na 36 Pa 5026) at Hanuman Marga, Shankhamul, KMC-34 yesterday.

Shrestha was rushed to the Thapathali-based Norvic Hospital, where he breathed his last during treatment, police said.

Police impounded the jeep and arrested its driver for further investigation.
