KATHMANDU: A teenaged girl died after she jumped from a moving bus at Jadibuti in KMC-32 on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Shristi Dahal (19) of Mirge in Vaiteshwar Rural Municipality-3 of Dolakha district, currently residing in Jadibuti.

Dahal was critically injured after she jumped from the bus, today said police.

She was rushed to the Civil Hospital in New Baneshwor where she breathed her last  during the course of treatment.

Meanwhile, police have detained the four wheeler driver and his assistant for further investigation into the case.
