Teens held with 'stolen' money from Tokha

KATHMANDU: Police on Sunday arrested two persons in possession of Rs 323,200 cash, which the law enforcers claimed was stolen from a meat shop.

Police have accused Bikas Giri (19) from Kodara-3 in Chitwan district and Abhishek Rai (18) from Gajuri-1 in Dhading district of breaking into the Three Star Meat Shop at Greenland Chok in Tokha-12 last night and decamping with the cash.

A team from the Metropolitan Police Sector, Tokha had nabbed them after studying the CC camera footage of the meat shop.

Police said they also recovered the cash.

Further investigation is underway.
