The westerly winds have a general impact across the country.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the weather is expected to remain partly cloudy in the hilly regions and fair across the rest of the country.

Foggy conditions have been observed in parts of the Terai and hilly regions. The temperature in the Kathmandu Valley is steadily dropping, with the minimum recorded at 8 degrees Celsius this morning, later rising slightly to 10 degrees Celsius.

The Department predicts that the maximum temperature in the federal capital will range between 19 and 21 degrees Celsius today.

As per the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, while fair conditions are expected elsewhere in the country.

Light rain is likely in one or two locations in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, with light snowfall anticipated in one or two areas of the higher hills and mountainous regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.

Tonight, the weather in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces is forecasted to remain partly cloudy. Light rain may occur in one or two locations in the hilly regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.

In the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain is likely in one or two locations in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, accompanied by light snowfall in one or two locations in the higher hills and mountainous regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.
