KATHMANDU: Property worth around Rs 105,000 were stolen from a rented room in Baniyatar, of Tokha Municipality-8 in Kathmandu district on Monday.

According to police, an unidentified gang broke into the rented room of Sharmila Tamang (30), a local resident of Dhading district, and made off with gold jewelry and Rs 3,000 cash from the unattended room.

Further investigation is underway, said police.
