Thieves strike houses in Bauddha, Sanepa

KATHMANDU: Two cases of theft have been reported from various places of Kathmandu Valley on Tuesday.

The house of Dolma Sherpa, a local of Simaltar, Bauddha, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-6, was struck by an unidentified gang of thieves.

The thieves made off with property worth Rs 100,000 including one tola gold jewellery and a camera.

In a similar case, thieves barged into the house of Madan Dahal in Sanepa of Lalitpur and stole property worth Rs 119,000 including gold jewellery and Rs 13,000 cash.

Local police are investigating into the cases and attempting to apprehend the thieves.
