KATHMANDU: Police on Friday arrested three persons for defrauding unemployed youths promising them jobs in Australia.

Roshan Karki, 25, of Kathmandu; and Shakti Bhujel, 30, and Puja Payakurel Bhujel of Dang were held from different places of Kathmandu.

According to Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu, they were cheating people by running a recruitment company ‘Nepal Job Placement’.

The trio had collected over Rs 15 million from seven persons with the promise of getting them a food packing job in Australia. They have been charged with fraud and baking offence.
