Three held with drugs in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: Police arrested three men in possession of various drugs from Kathmandu on Sunday.

The Naya Baneshwor-based Metropolitan Police Circle arrested Phurwa Sherpa (30) of Jiri-6 in Dolakha district, and Santosh Kunwar (25) of Chadini-9 in Kavre district, currently residing at Baneshwor, KMC-34, and Anil Kunwar (17) of Kuntabeshi in Kavre district.

Police had found 500 gram marijuana, a mini laptop, a camera, a hammer and a wrench from rented room of Sherpa yesterday.

Meanwhile, police interrogated Sherpa and knew about two other people involved in illegal durg trade.

Police also further raided Santosh's rented room and found 25 ampoule Diazepam,  25 ampoule  Phenergan and 25 ampoule Lupigesic.

Police are investigating into the case.
