KATHMANDU: Police said they arrested three persons on charge of physically assaulting on-duty security personnel deputed at a fuel station in Tripureshwar.

One of the assaulter have been identified as 50-year-old Arun Baidya of Tripureshwar. Baidya and two others reportedly disputed with police personnel over refilling petrol at Mayaram Bholaram Petrol Pump, Tripureshwar, though they did not have valid coupon. When security personnel tried to stop them, according to police, they hit the former with helmet and injured two of them.

Police said the two injured cops were taken to Kathmandu Model Hospital for treatment.
