KATHMANDU: Three residents of one family from an apartment complex in Kathmandu are admitted to Patan Hospital for health follow-up. Two among them were recently discharged from the health facility after recovering from Covid-19.

"All three of them are currently at the hospital. They are here on a follow-up and their samples have been drawn for conducting tests at the hospital's laboratory," hospital's director Dr Bishnu Prasad Sharma told THT Online.

According to the hospital director, they were admitted for another round of tests as per the hospital's protocol.

Director Sharma said that the specimen of their throat samples have been delivered to the laboratory of the hospital and that the test results will come out tomorrow.

"We are expecting to receive their test reports by tomorrow," added Dr Sharma.

Two people from the same family were diagnosed with Coronavirus infection in the second week of April and were subsequently discharged from Patan Hospital in the third week upon recovery.
