KATHMANDU: Police said they received three complaints of theft cases from various places of Kathmandu Valley on Tuesday.

An unidentified gang of thieves barged into the rented room of Min Bahadur Bhujel in Babarmahal, KMC-11 and made off with valuables worth Rs 237,000 including gold and silver ornaments.

In another case, property worth Rs 367,000 including a laptop, gold jewellery and cash was stolen from the house of Yasoda Nepal at the Sai Baba Marga in Koteshwor, KMC-35.

Likewise, a gang of thieves ran away after stealing a laptop and three mobile sets, collectively worth Rs 100,000, from the house of Chet Kumari Thapa in Naikap, Chandragiri-21.

Police are looking into all cases and searching for the suspects.
